NIFA works for achieving objectives and target as described in NIFA legislation by following government rules and regulation. It’s working areas are-

•  Human welfare activities
•  Celebrate national day and program of both courtiers,  like Independence Day, republic day, Buddha day,  Gandhi day, etc to increase relation.
•  Facilitation in education program between Nepal and  India
•   Interaction program in education, Culture, Literature,  language etc.
•  Facilitation and exchange of interest in high level  diplomatic  tour between India and Nepal.
•  Conducting relief program in victim areas, blood  donation, awareness program, training for human  welfare.
•  Helping people of India and Nepal working outside  from  their country.
•  Organizing seminar and workshop for Nepal and India  mutual relation.
